Dog Training for a Great Pyrenees Mix with Leash Reactivity in West Village, NYC.

After being bitten at doggy daycare, this Great Pyrenees mix developed leash reactivity during walks. In cases like this, our first goal is to teach the dog how to disengage from triggers in a calm and controlled way. I also coached the owner on how to properly read their dog’s body language and understand timing—specifically when to ask for disengagement before the reaction escalates.
