Course Outline for Leash Aggression/Reactivity

Session 1: House Manners and Basic Obedience

•Establishing manners around the house - this will carry over outside.

•Teaching basic commands using leash pressure.

Session 2: Halter Training and Learning to Ready Your Dog's Body Language

•Conditioning the dog to a head halter, my go-to equipment for managing leash aggression.

•Practice identifying triggers and body language cues to intervene before the dog becomes uncontrollable.

Session 3: Counter Conditioning and Management

•Redirection and management strategies using positive reinforcement.

•Counter Conditioning Your Dog's Association Towards Other Dogs.

Session 4: (Optional): Introducing Corrections

•If the owner continues to struggle with control, we may have to introduce appropriate corrections using a Bark Collar.
