Broke my 9-year streak of not getting bitten last weekend. The client was a 1-year-old Boxer from Franklin Square in Long Island, NY, who I initially thought just had a basic obedience or housebreaking issue. It turns out the dog was also very territorial and didn’t hesitate to bite me a couple of times. I couldn’t really blame the owners, since they’ve never really had guests over so this was probably the first time they saw their dog act aggressively.
