Jojo Bautista is a professional dog trainer based in Astoria, offering expert dog training services in both New York and the Philippines. With a strong foundation in animal behavior, Jojo brings years of experience as a former zoo trainer, where he worked hands-on with a wide range of animals—including tigers, orangutans, and birds of prey.

He also served as the resident behaviorist for Island Rescue Organization (IRO) in Cebu, Philippines—a respected animal rescue dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming dogs. There, Jojo focused on behavior modification and training programs for rescue dogs in need of a second chance.

Jojo’s specialties include canine behavior rehabilitation and protection dog training. He’s passionate about helping dogs build confidence, drive, and control through structured, humane methods grounded in science.

Today, Jojo continues his work as a Canine Behavior Trainer at the world’s largest no-kill animal shelter, where he applies his skills to help both dogs and their future families thrive.
